Ok, so I was pretty happy with the results. I am late in posting this by almost a week, but I got very sick and also had to get ready for my Scotland trip. I am in Scotland now, and have not been sticking to my diet. I tried in the beginning, but it just doesn't work when I can't keep food in my room and everything is to expensive to waste a bunch of it. So...oh well. I feel like all I did was eat today. I am going to try and do better for the rest of the week. When I can't cook, and I can't store anything, it makes it pretty much impossible to be 100% good. I can cut back on calories though. Except, I'm at a B&B, and I get one free meal a day, which is breakfast, and that meal...is either pancakes or eggs and bacon or waffles, none of which I'm supposed to have. Maybe the eggs, but they are cooked in butter. I've been walking a lot since I got here,most of that is uphill, so I know I'm burning more calories than I usually do. Yesterday I walked all the way back to the B&B form the Royal mile. It made my feet hurt, but my knees are holding up fine. Yay!

Tomorrow I am going to Roslyn Chapel, the place at the end of the DaVinci Code. I'm going to take public transportation all the way there! I am trying to get the hang of the busses, but they don't make it easy at all. Oh well, I still have some time to learn!

  1. Well hopefully all that walking will make up for the extra calories. I'm so jealous, but sounds like you're having a blast in Scotland!
