Tough week. I've been so busy I forgot to post! I was discouraged at my last weigh in, but the doctor assured me that I really DID lose weight, but to see the results I need to drink more water. SO, I've been drinking LOTS of water this week. I knew I hadn't been having enough water. Then I had too many birthday snacks. I've been much better the last few days though, and today when I stepped on the scale it showed that I was two pounds less! We'll see on Wednesday though. It's my last weigh in before SCOTLAND!!!
I was packing today, and I realized I only had one pair of jeans left, because my other pair got ruined in the car accident. Turns out I had a candle jar in my car, and when I stopped, the wax flew all over my pants. Gotta love weather hot enough to melt candles. Stupid desert. I was worried I would have to go buy new jeans, but I tried on some other pairs that had been in my closet forever...AND THEY FIT! Woo hoo! I was too chunky for them before! So now I don't have to spend extra money and I have three more pairs of pants AND shorts to wear.
I got a new CR-V last Monday. It is two years newer than my old one and a very pretty dark blue color. It only has 35,000 miles on it, and it has brand new tires and front brakes and it smells lke Hallmark inside! I love t. Steve went with me to the dealership and he talked the sales people down form $19,900 to $17,000. He saved me almost three thousand!! So though I will still have a car payment, it will be small. I could only put 10K down on it because I am waiting for my duplicate title. Once I get that I can send it in to the insurance company and they will send me the other part of my payout, which I will then apply toward the loan. Honda loans are nice because if I make and overpayment they will push my payments WAY OUT until I have one due again. So hopefully this will get me through the next year with little to no payments and I will be able to get this thing paid off faster by sending in any extra I have. It's about 5K total until I send them the rest of the insurance money. Yay. I'm so gald. It has definitely relieved some of the stress I've been having to know that I am independant with my own trasportation again. Yay!
I am so ready for my vacation. I can't wait. I'm finalizing what tours I want to go on and how to get from the airport to tthe B&B. I really need this vacation.

Well, I think you're awesome for only gaining .8 of a pound and not more from all your birthday stuff and accident happening. Coolness about the car, can't wait to see it! I really need to come visit you and/or talk soon. Missed you lately. Darn Jordan and his all day school!!
